I am a resident and post-doctorate researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. As a physician-scientist with a focus on signal processing and neural electrophysiology, I am interested in building network-based brain computer interface (BCI) for neuropsychiatric disorders including epilepsy, pain and mood disorders. To do so, I work on causal human paradigms to understand 1) brain networks underlying naturalistic behaviors, 2) latent space models of disease states and 3) network plasticity after targeted brain stimulation. I received my BSc at University of Alberta and my MD at Stanford University.
